Slow Rosemary Chicken

One of my wonderful co-workers gave us some fresh rosemary, so we have been using it in everything...so why not use it on our go-to slow cooked chicken...YUM-OLA!!!

What you will need...
  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • fresh rosemary
Place the whole chicken in the Crockpot.  Pour 1/4 cup water in order to keep the chicken moist during the cooking.  Sprinkle with salt, pepper, thyme, and lay the fresh rosemary on top.  Cook for about 8 hours so it is super tender and it almost pulls it's self...YUM-OLA!

Sides to think about...Great with seasoned rice or mashed red potatoes, and any veggie!

How many people can eat...Should feed about 8 hungry folks.

Note:  save the juices from cooking the chicken...may come in handy for something else!
