What you will need...
So, depending on what you are wanting to get out of your roast, you can decide how much of each food you want. We wanted to eat it two nights and use the rest for vegetable beef soup (can't wait for that night!)...so, you decide how much roast, potatoes, carrots, and onions you will need...
- roast
- Idaho potatoes, peeled and cut into two or three chunks each
- carrots, peeled
- onion, peeled and cut into large chunks
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and left whole
- 1/2 packet of onion soup mix
- 1 tbsp rosemary
- 1 tbsp thyme
- salt and pepper
- water
