Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

I am loving pumpkin this season. If you love pumpkin in the Fall, this is a perfect way to start your day...
















What you will need...

  • 1/2 cup quick cook oats
  • 1/2 cup old fashion oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup canned pumpkin
In a large bowl, put the uncooked oats, a splash of water, and the spice, cinnamon, and brown sugar.  Mix well. Add the remaining water and microwave (you could do it on the stove, but who has the time, and it is just as good) for about 4 minutes or until your oatmeal begins to rise and almost overflow. Add the pumpkin, stir well, and put back in the microwave for about 30 seconds...YUM-OLA!

How many people can eat...depends on how hungry you are:), but should feed one to two.
