Rosemary Rubbed Pork Tenderloin

Jeff has been wanting to prepare a pork tenderloin on the grill for awhile, and we finally bought one.  We had some fresh rosemary, so we decided to try a rub on the tenderloin.

What you will need...
  • 1 pork tenderloin (which is actually 2 small tenderloins)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 sprigs of rosemary, stems removed, leaves chopped
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • salt and pepper
Trim away any silver skin from the pork, and pat dry with a paper towel.  Set aside so you can make the rub.  Place the minced garlic on a cutting board.  Sprinkle the garlic with sea salt and use a knife to press and rub over the garlic to make a paste.  Combine the rosemary with the garlic salt paste, olive oil, and black pepper in a bowl and mix well.  Rub the paste on the pork loin and let it set for about 30 minutes at room temperature.  Now you are ready to grill!  Pace the loin on the grill over a medium heat and close the lid.  Grill 5 minutes on each of the 4 sides, closing the lid after each turn.  When the internal temperature is 160 degrees (medium) it is time to remove from the grill.  Cover with foil and let set for 5 to 10 minutes to rest.  Uncover, slice3, and enjoy...YUM-OLA!!!

How many people can eat...should feed 4-6 people.

Sides to think about...great with corn on the cob, red potatoes, and summer squash...cook all on the grill!
