Yes I love bacon, yes I know it is not healthy, but a little bacon every now and then added to dishes really brings a fantastic flavor! DO NOT substitute turkey bacon...it just isn't right. So why not see if my hubby will add some bacon to make one of his burgers. I can't take any credit for this one, as Jeff is the burger man and this one is all him...
What you will need...
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 3 to 4 pieces of bacon, cooked and chopped
- about 1/8 cup chopped cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp Worchestershire
- dash of salt and pepper
- splash of water
Start the grill. Cook and chopped bacon. Add all ingredients and pat out 4 burgers. Grill to your liking. They are so moist and full of flavor that there is no need to top with anything...YUM-OLA!!!
Sides to think about...great with a summer salad that has fresh tomatoes and bacon pieces, corn on the cob, and of course our favorite...baked sweet potatoes.
How many people can eat...should feed 4 people or 2 Jeffs :)
