BBQ Apple Sauce Chops

Jeff and I like to have pork chops about once every other month because they are easy to cook, and fun to make with different foods and flavors.  We think of pork chops as a special treat and yet we can stick to our budget...

What you will need...
  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite or make your own!)
  • 1/2 cup apple sauce (chunky would be yummy)
So easy...heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.  Salt and pepper both sides of the chops.  When skillet is hot, place the chops in and brown both sides (about 4 minutes each side).  In a bowl, mix the apple sauce and BBQ sauce.  Add a spoonful of the mixture to the top of the chops, cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes.  So easy and so YUM-OLA!!!

Sides to think about...we like sweet potatoes and green beans with anything BBQ.

How many people can eat...depends on how big your chops are :)...should feed 4.
